The Discourse #1: Introduction

Welcome to The Discourse! We are a demographically diverse group of student intellectuals, members of the Wayne State University Civil Discourse Fellowship, committed to having deep, good-faith discussions on complex issues.

Over the next few months (and perhaps beyond), in this blog/vlog, we will discuss diverse topics, some controversial, some relaxed, in a roundtable format. We will have one (longer) podcast and one (shorter) text post per month, staggered so that we produce new content roughly every two weeks.

In this introductory episode, four of us dig into our diverse backgrounds and ideological predispositions, which will be highly relevant for our upcoming discussion topics. Enjoy!
